Why I’m choosing to move forward to shooting fil

Why I’m choosing to move forward to shooting film:

I think any wedding photographer that has been in the industry can agree that weddings can be a little repetitive, even though every couple is unique and every wedding is beautiful in it’s own way. After shooting over 100 weddings, I started noticing a pattern, a pattern of shooting safe. Shooting the same angle, the same lighting, the same poses. My couples love it but I was slowly dying. I wanted something that would scare me, push me artistically and force me to think outside of the box. Film is what made me fall in love with photography again. The idea that I have 1 shot to get it right, slowing down and making sure my composition is perfect. Although I have so much to learn, I’m grateful for trusting my gut and doing something I promised I would never do: fall in love with film.
