A Bit About LucidWild Estate

LucidWild Estate is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery, previously known as Bella Vida Vineyard. It’s been reimagined with modern architectural details, unique spaces, and award-winning wines.

The estate is located in the Dundee Hills AVA in Oregon, a region celebrated for producing some of the world’s most elegant, premium wines.

Their acclaimed winemaker, Isabelle Meunier, crafts the highest-rated Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Oregon history. The estate’s sustainable farming ethos runs through everything here, from the way they tend the land to what ends up in your glass.

For the wine-loving couples out there, this is a venue that genuinely takes its wines seriously, and your guests will definitely taste the difference!

A Unique Vineyard Wedding Setting

LucidWild Estate winery and vineyard is less than 30 miles southwest of Portland and 23 miles north of Salem. It’s close enough that traveling guests won’t have a long drive, but far enough that you feel transported into Wine Country once you’re there.

The estate sits at over 800 feet in the Willamette Valley. So, this means you get sweeping views of the Dundee Hills, Mount Hood, and the North Cascades from nearly every corner of the property.

What makes LucidWild stand out among winery wedding venues in Oregon is how seamlessly it blends two things that don’t always go together: a picturesque vineyard setting on one hand, and luxurious, modern architecture on the other.

Picture your ceremony alongside the vines, followed by a cocktail hour spent sipping wine as the sun dips below the hills. Then, take the celebration inside and dance the night away in their underground late-night spaces.

The Spaces at LucidWild Estate

One of my favorite things about LucidWild Estate is how many distinct spaces – both indoors and outdoors – there are to work with. Each one has its own personality, atmosphere, and kind of magic.

The property boasts refined elegance and feels expansive, while still feeling warm and intimate. From a moody hideaway and hidden speakeasy to a sweeping meadow and vineyard-side lawn, weddings here are immersive, elevated, and fully curated experiences.

So, let’s get into all of the spaces LucidWild has to offer!

SkyTerraces: LivingRoom & SkyLounge

The LivingRoom and SkyLounge sit high above the estate and offer some of the most breathtaking panoramas of the Dundee Hills and the vineyard. The SkyTerraces offer luxe furnishings, plentiful seating areas, and warm fireplaces.

The indoor-outdoor setup makes it an ideal space for a post-ceremony cocktail hour or a relaxed gathering at sunset.

Vineyard Lawn & Patio

If you want to feel completely immersed in the vineyard setting without straying too far from the SkyTerraces and WineCaves, this is the space for you. The manicured lawn sits right at the vineyard level, just steps from the vines, with a view of the estate below.

Surrounding the lawn are paved terrace lounge areas anchored by a beautiful outdoor fire feature. It seats up to 100 guests and is especially magical for a sunset ceremony or an open-air reception.

Wildflower Lawn

The Wildflower Lawn is a serene meadow nestled beneath old-growth trees, overlooking the vineyard. It’s completely separate from the tasting room, making it feel secluded in the best of ways. It seats up to 150 guests and works beautifully for any part of your wedding day.

WineCaves & CaveLounge

There’s nothing quite like celebrating in a space that’s literally carved into the earth. The WineCaves are an immersive, intimate space filled with soft lighting, natural stone, and rustic wine barrels. 

It fits 80 guests for a seated dinner and can naturally transition into a late-night dance floor to continue your celebration.

Tucked deep inside is the CaveLounge, a moody hideaway for guests who want a quiet moment away from the celebration.

Jellies

Tucked beneath the SkyTerraces is LucidWild’s best-kept secret space. Jellies is an underground speakeasy with a glowing jellyfish tank casting a bioluminescent calm over the whole room as vinyl spins on the turntable.

It’s a private, vibey late-night space, perfect for an unforgettable ending to your wedding day.

RecRoom

The RecRoom is a laid-back game lounge, complete with billiards, shuffleboard, foosball, outdoor ping pong and bocce ball, and a 96-inch TV.

It’s a great social space to relax, connect, and bring an element of play to your wedding celebration. You could use this space in so many ways: the groom’s suite, a rehearsal dinner, or a welcome reception.

Wander the grounds long enough, and you’ll also find the barns. This is home to Valais Blacknose sheep, a llama, Mini-Highland cows, and a HoneyBeez apiary. It’s a fun detail guests don’t expect and certainly won’t forget!

Other Things to Know About LucidWild Estate

Beyond the venue itself, here are some other helpful things to know when planning a wedding at LucidWild Estate:

• A full-service wedding planner is required and must be contracted at least 9 months in advance.
• All vendors must be approved by LucidWild Estate.
• Shuttle service or valet is required for events with more than 50 guests. Shuttle service is also required for weddings with a cocktail package.
• Wildflower Lawn events require an outside caterer, chosen from their approved vendor list.

For weddings hosted at the SkyTerraces (LivingRoom & SkyLounge) and WineCaves:

• In-house catering is provided through the Estate Chef, with custom vineyard-to-table, seasonal menus designed to pair well with the wines and cocktails.
• Tables, chairs, flatware, and glassware are provided for seated dinners up to 80 guests. Additional rentals may be required for larger events.
