Amaterra means “for the love of the Earth.” This is certainly reflected in its breathtaking scenery and views that stretch from the sprawling vineyard to the valley and Coast Range.

Indoor and Outdoor Spaces at Amaterra Winery

The Amaterra estate is a versatile space for weddings, big and small, whether you want to celebrate indoors, outdoors, or a mix of both. 

The Terrace Lawn

The Terrace Lawn offers spectacular views and more space than you could imagine, with 7,000 square feet of lush lawn. A 30-foot natural rock waterfall cascades into two tranquil reflecting pools, making it the perfect space for an outdoor ceremony, or dining and dancing under the stars and valley lights.

The space also features various covered areas with lounge seating and Adirondack chairs overlooking the valley and vineyard—a beautiful setting for your cocktail reception.

The Terrace Lawn can accommodate up to 200 guests for the ceremony, 300 for cocktail hour, and 200 for a dinner reception.

Skyline Ballroom

If you’re looking for an indoor-outdoor space to host your Oregon winery wedding, the Skyline Ballroom might be just what you’re looking for.

This 7,700-square-foot winery wedding venue can host ceremonies with up to 200 guests, cocktail hour for 300, and dinner receptions for 175. If you’re having a more intimate wedding, the space can be split into two smaller rooms (east and west).

The Ballroom highlights the vineyard’s beauty across every season with its floor-to-ceiling windows and architecture that complements the rolling valley hills.

Inside, guests will find a built-in bar framed by an impressive blown glass wall by artist Andy Paiko, a built-in sound system, and wireless microphones—perfect for an indoor ceremony and reception. 

Guests can also enjoy the expansive deck with an indoor-outdoor stone fireplace, soft seating, and a fire table. It’s the perfect spot to take in the cotton candy sunsets against the Willamette Valley.

Winery-Inspired Wedding Suites

Couples and their bridal parties get to use Amaterra Winery’s Barrel Room and Gallery Room as private dressing suites. Both suites are bathed in natural light, providing modern, relaxing spaces for hair and makeup, getting-ready photos, first looks, and more.

The Gallery Room is located on the venue’s upper level. It provides plenty of comfortable lounge seating, a mounted flat-screen TV, and access to the upper deck with beautiful valley views.

The Barrel Room is the larger of the two dressing suites at over 570 square feet and is on the lower level with direct access to the Terrace Lawn. This suite features floor-to-ceiling windows, a mounted flat-screen TV, and farmwood tables with soft lounge seating.

Pacific Northwest-Inspired Food and Refreshments 

Your first meal as newlyweds, shared with your closest friends and family, is a moment to cherish.

That’s why Amaterra Winery’s executive chef, Jami Flatt, works with couples to craft a Pacific Northwest-inspired menu that reflects your unique personality and tastes. They can also accommodate special dietary requests.

Given that you’re getting married at a winery, it’s only fitting that you and your guests enjoy the bounty of the surrounding vineyards. Amaterra Winery carefully creates a custom selection of their award-winning wines, cocktails, and beer for each wedding. 

You also don’t have to worry about hiring an outside bartending service. Amaterra’s knowledgeable staff will host the bar, serving your personalized wine and beer list, along with your signature drinks.

Amenities at Amaterra Winery 

Weddings at Amaterra Winery include a range of modern amenities, ensuring a truly luxurious experience for guests.

Your rental includes exclusive use of the Skyline Ballroom, Terrace Lawn, and deck for six hours, plus a one-hour rehearsal. On your wedding day, you and your bridal party will also have access to two getting-ready suites.

Amaterra offers a wide selection of decor items to enhance their wedding day, including oak cross-back chairs and different table styles—high tops, cocktail tables, banquet rounds, and rectangular banquets.

The venue also provides couples with table linens and cloth napkins in their wedding color, as well as silverware, white china plates, glassware, and all serveware.

Amaterra Winery has a staff of professional bartenders and waitstaff to ensure your cocktail hour and reception go smoothly. Their staff will also help set up and break down all of the venue-provided items.

There is ample onsite parking for your guests. Valet parking is also available through their partner, Premiere Valet, for larger weddings.
