You and your guests will be surrounded by lush greenery and wildflowers as you say your “I dos” and dance the night away on the lakeshore.

Secluded Lakeside Grounds 

Bridal Veil Lakes offers the perfect setting for your outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. The grounds are secluded and picturesque, complete with a serene lake, surrounding forests and greenery, and a sprawling meadow.

The 3-acre spring-fed lake is at the heart of this private recreational area, surrounded by dense old-growth forests. The two docks leading to the lake are great photo opportunities for unique bridal party shots, an intimate first look, or newlywed sunset photos.

Depending on your wedding month, you’ll also be treated to a variety of beautiful wildflower blooms to complete your wedding florals:

• May: buttercups, late trillium, irises, lupine, daisies, rhododendrons, and azalea
• June: water irises, lilies, columbines, delphinium, lupine, and foxgloves
• July: dame’s rocket, purple coneflower, tickseed, various types of daisies, sweet williams, and foxgloves
• August: dahlias, lilies, black-eyed susan, cosmos, strawflower, nasturtiums, and asters 
• September: dahlias, cosmos, amaranth, cleome, and black-eyed susan

This Oregon wedding venue allows guests to escape into a nature oasis away from the city. The towering trees block the cold east winds, while multiple covered areas ensure you have the celebration of your dreams, rain or shine.

Bridal Veil Lakes is conveniently located just half an hour from the Portland metro area. This allows for easy access to the Portland International Airport and various guest accommodation options.

You and your bridal party can choose a getting-ready location near the city center. Or you can even get ready in the surrounding Columbia River Gorge area, like the Bridal Veil Lodge Bed & Breakfast, which is around 3 minutes away from the venue.

Celebrate Rain or Shine: The Covered Spaces 

In Oregon, our weather can change at a moment’s notice, which can be stressful for couples planning an outdoor wedding.

While Bridal Veil Lakes is an outdoor wedding venue, it has two covered spaces to keep you and your guests comfortable and dry: an open-air pavilion and a canopied patio. Both covered spaces are 800 square feet, located by the restrooms, and come with decorative string lights and electricity. 

These covered areas are perfect for an outdoor wedding reception, no matter the weather. They are lakeside, providing a beautiful and romantic setting for you and your guests to eat, dance, and celebrate.

There’s also an uncovered patio measuring 848 square feet if you’d prefer to set up your own canopy or tent to customize the space to your wedding aesthetic. 

Amenities at Bridal Veil Lakes

Bridal Veil Lakes not only offers stunning grounds but also provides a range of amenities to ensure you have a seamless and custom wedding day.

This Oregon venue is ideal for weddings of up to 250 guests. The venue rental includes 250 white ceremony chairs and 250 white reception chairs. You can choose from various sizes of round, banquet, and folding tables, along with several wooden picnic tables, allowing you to tailor the setup to your wedding vision.

A gazebo-style arch is also included in your venue rental. This arch provides a picturesque ceremony backdrop that can be adorned with florals to complement your decor. You can always bring your own furniture rentals to add more of your personal touch.

The venue provides four canoes equipped with oars and life jackets. You and your guests can enjoy the lake and capture unforgettable moments against the scenic backdrop.

Despite being an outdoor venue, Bridal Veil Lakes ensures you have access to modern amenities to make your wedding dreams a reality. 

For instance, the venue offers a covered catering prep workspace with counters. This area features a utility sink, electrical outlets, a double-door commercial refrigerator, and a commercial-sized freezer. Your catering team can also use the provided custom BBQ grill.

You can also enjoy the convenience of electrical outlets scattered throughout the grounds, perfect for music and sound systems. 

Bridal Veil Lakes prioritizes accessibility, offering handicap-accessible restrooms, covered areas, and grounds. ADA-designated parking is available at the lakeside, with additional parking for 150 vehicles on the grounds.

There is only one event on the property per day, so you don’t have to worry about your wedding getting cut short or interrupted. You can start your celebration as early as 9:00 a.m., and the festivities can continue until midnight.
