1. Mcmenamins Edgefield

Address: 2126 SW Halsey St, Troutdale, OR 97060

I’ve shot here multiple times and usually don’t have any issues with staff or guests. But they do have large gatherings and weddings on the weekends, so I would call and double check that you can come onto their property before hand. This location is great for small or large groups and highly recommend this location in the summer/fall session. This location has buildings and lots of landscape for a variation of wedding photos.

2. Monet Vineyards

Address: 14698 NE 212th Ave, Brush Prairie, WA 98606

This is by far one of the most requested locations! Some of the best wedding photos have been taken at this spot. The reason this location is so great is because it’s private, has perfect lighting throughout the day and is great for large wedding parties. Although there is a small fee to reserve this spot, every bride has loved her images here. This is perfect for any couple who loves a classy/ Italian vibe.

3. Pittock mansion

Address: 3229 NW Pittock Dr, Portland, OR 97210

On a budget and can’t afford extra location fees for wedding photos? This is the perfect spot! There is no fee to use this location as it is a public museum. There is plenty of space for just the two of you or a group of 20+ people. The building is great and the landscape is well taken care of! Best time to visit: spring/summer.

4. Lewis and Clark college

Address: 615 SW Palatine Hill Rd, Portland, OR 97219

For any couple that wants luxury wedding photos, this is the perfect space for you! With large buildings and beautiful architecture, this will wow any couple. There is a fee per hour here but totally worth it! Great all year round.

5. Cathedral Park

Address: 8676 N Crawford St Portland, OR

Raining on your wedding day? Not to worry, Cathedral Park is the perfect spot for any rainy wedding photos! It provided great coverage and can easily fit 10-15 people! Check in with the park prior because they have recently starting hosting weddings on the weekends here. Great year round, but perfect to save any couple who has to face rain on their wedding day.

6. Reed College

Address: 3203 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97202

Beautiful buildings with open space, the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Great all year long, but the best time is spring for all the blossoming trees! Call ahead to reserve your spot or security will escort you back to your car!

7. Peninsula Park

Address: 700 N Rosa Parks Way, Portland, OR 97217

Do you want to smell a million roses at once? This is the perfect spot! There are over 200 types of roses here and great for any couple that loves to incorporate florals into their wedding photos! The walk ways are some what narrow so this would be great for small groups. Best time to visit is when the flowers bloom May- September.

8. Villa Catalana Cellars

Address: 11900 S Criteser Rd, Oregon City, OR 97045

Great location for anyone who wishes they could visit Italy! This venue is so unique, I can bet you won’t find anything like this in Oregon! This property is well maintained and has a great green room for when it rains! There is a fee of $100 per hour, but totally worth it! Perfect year round! Check out some images on my instagram here

9. Crystal springs rhododendron

Address: 5801 SE 28th Ave, Portland, OR 97202

Located close to Reed College, great location for summer weddings. There are so many great spots here: a beautiful bridge, a small waterfall, and located right next to a river! Although there is a fee here, once you get here, you’ll see why! The landscape is incredibly well taken care of!

10. Oregon Temple

Address: 13600 Kruse Oaks Blvd, Lake Oswego, OR 97035

This temple will blow you away! Surrounded by 20 feet marble, this place is like nothing you’ve seen before! There is no fee here and it’s a great location for Summer/ Fall weddings.

Like I’ve mentioned before, most places require you to call ahead and make reservations, don’t show up without calling! Trust me getting escorted by security back into your is not something you want to do on your wedding day! Although some of the best places have a fee, it’s well worth it! Trying to drag a 15 people wedding party into downtown can be a disaster! Most locations that require you to make a reservation for wedding photos, are private venues that will only allow 1 party at a time! Want to know top locations for your engagement session?
